Born and raised in the Netherlands, Managing Partner Ilja Chapman, CTIE, brings a global perspective shaped by a career in hospitality and travel, along with firsthand experiences exploring all seven continents. After beginning her hospitality leadership career in 1993, Ilja launched her own independent travel business in 2014, giving her firsthand insight into the opportunities, challenges, and decisions that come with building a successful travel business.
Since joining Travel Resources Group in 2020, Ilja has been dedicated to helping independent travel advisors build successful businesses with the support, community, mentorship, and flexibility to do business their way. Her Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE) designation reflects her ongoing commitment to leadership, professional development, and ensuring TRG advisors benefit from knowledgeable, forward-thinking guidance.
